PROMAC Season Awards
How rankings work — and how Regional Champions are crowned.

Eligibility (must-read)
To be ranked and earn season awards, you must be a current PROMAC member.
Season timeline
The PROMAC ratings season runs on a calendar year (January–December).
How rankings are calculated
Your season standing is earned through points across rated events.
- PROMAC tabulates points across hundreds of divisions; these points determine end-of-year champions.
- It’s the competitor’s responsibility to ensure an event is PROMAC rated (verify via the PROMAC calendar or PROMAC office).
- Ratings are typically available on the PROMAC website within two weeks of an event’s completion.
PROMAC Regional Champions (Season Awards)
How Regional Champions (and the Top 5) are determined
- Regional rankings are determined by the cumulative point total earned at ALL rated tournaments within that region.
- Competitors may track points in one or multiple regions and do not have to designate membership in any region.
- The Regional Division Winners and Top 5 are determined by total points earned at ALL rated tournaments within each region, in the specific divisions a competitor competes and places.
PROMAC National Champions (context + connection to Championships)
National Titles are decided at the PROMAC Championships
- To compete for a National Title: active membership + competed in the division at three different PROMAC sanctioned tournaments during the season.
- National rankings/titles are determined by placement at the PROMAC Championships season-end event.

Seeding (why rankings matter)
- At the PROMAC Championships, the top two ranked regional competitors in each division receive a seed; all other qualified competitors compete as wildcards.
